Hey There!
My name is Allyssa and I am a new mom with a dream to share and teach! I am a wife, a mama to Evelyn, a dog mom to Rosie + Uno, and a cat mom to Chompy. I am also a nurse! I care for mama’s and their newborns through labor and delivery, all the way through postpartum. I encounter first-time and many-time mamas and I learn something new from every one of them.
There is so much to read and learn out there, I wanted to make a home for all the questions you might have. It can be hard to navigate all the best must-haves or go-to’s. So my goal is to offer my advice, from my experiences, with you!
My phone is filled with notes and ideas for many things and I spend a lot of my time wishing I had a way to share what I learn with others who might have the same questions. So I made a blog! I am here to share my motherhood journey and to foster a community for new moms, experienced moms, working moms, SAHMs, and the sometimes-homesteading moms. (AKA moms). If you love being a mama and having a go-to place for all those burning questions, this is the place for you.
